Preparing students for the future is the cornerstone principle for the Agriculture, Business, Computers and Technology Department at Hutchinson Community College.
Our instructors provide industry experience and are certified in the national organizations of their career fields as experts in industry standards and techniques. Some of our certifications include AWS, NATEF, EPA and Cisco certifications…and our instructors continue to learn and grow as the industry demands, so they keep abreast of the latest developments in the field.
Our students work on the latest industry equipment, real working models, not demonstrator or testing models, ensuring that you receive the type of hands-on experience that sets you above the rest of the job seekers. In addition, once you’ve finished our programs, you can test for industry certification yourself, right here in our convenient ACT Testing Center, which is able to give the latest certification and competency examinations demanded by regulatory and licensing agencies.
High School FFA programs, come join in Aggie Days. Sponsored by the Hutch CC Agriculture Department, the 2013 Aggie Days competition lets you showcase your knowledge and expertise. For more information, go to: http://www.hutchcc.edu/aggie-days
We invite and encourage you to maximize your classroom experiences by participating in one of our student activities like Crops Judging, Livestock Judging, Soils Judging, Collegiate Farm Bureau or Block and Bridle.
