HCC Students Give Back to the Community

In past years as well as this year,  HCC students join The Volunteer Center in clearing litter and debris in Hutchinson's Carey Park as part of the United Way Community Work Day. United Way hosts the Work Day annually to kick-off the beginning of its campaign to raise needed funds for community organizations. In addition to bringing attention to the United Way campaign, the work day provided a terrific opportunity for students and community members to work together for the betterment of the community.

HCC Circle K students hosted the Kiwanis Circle K District Convention on March 3rd and 4th. A large community service project was organized with the Hutchinson Public Library for students in attendance. Volunteers painted the children's section of the library, helped catalog and cleaned up some of the outside of the building.
