Students will receive NFPA 1001 Firefighter I and II training in only two-weeks! Experience a hands-on course preparing you for Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Awareness, and Hazardous Materials Operations Level IFSAC Certification. This program emphasizes learning the basic knowledge and skills necessary to become a functioning member of a fire department. While at the Firefighter I and II Academy, the student's daily routine incorporates a fire department atmosphere into the training. Instruction includes required online pre-work, daily quizzes on cognitive information, classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice on individual skills. The Firefighter I and II Academy students will respond on fire apparatus, perform vehicle extrication, participate in live interior and exterior fire evolutions, night drills, team work, and practice safety and accountability. At the conclusion of the two-week course, IFSAC certification testing is offered.

A $250.00 deposit is required at the time of enrollment.
